Honored to Serve Our Community We are deeply honored and humbled to have received the High Ethical Standards in Business Award from the Rotary Club of Loma Linda–San Bernardino Crossroads. To be honest, this recognition came as a complete surprise to both Chris and me. We never set out to receive awards or recognition. The work we do in our community comes from the values that were taught to us by our families and from our belief that when we are blessed, we should use those blessings to help others. For many years, DeJon Salon & Aesthetics Center has had the privilege of supporting community events, wellness programs, charitable causes, Native communities, elders, families, and individuals who simply needed a helping hand. We do this because it is the right thing to do, not because we expect anything in return. Receiving this award means so much because it was presented by a group of individuals who dedicate their own time and energy to serving others. To be recognized by the Rotary Club and nominated by members of our community is truly an honor that we do not take lightly. We share this recognition with every member of our team, our volunteers, our clients, our family, and the many organizations that have welcomed us into their communities over the years. We also share it with the people we have been fortunate enough to serve, because they have taught us just as much as we have ever given. As Native people, we are taught that service is not about recognition. It is about showing up for one another, honoring our elders, supporting our families, and strengthening our communities for future generations. Those teachings continue to guide us every day. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Loma Linda–San Bernardino Crossroads, its leadership, board members, and community partners for this incredible honor. We are grateful beyond words. Most importantly, we thank our Creator for the opportunities we have been given to serve others. If we have been blessed, then it is our responsibility to pass those blessings forward.

Recently, Melissa, Christopher, and I had the privilege of attending a private VIP Open House at the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) Training Center in Orange County.
From the moment we walked in, we were truly impressed. The facility is completely state-of-the-art—modern, welcoming, and designed with intention. Every detail reflects a commitment to education, innovation, and patient care at the highest level.
We were guided through the entire training center, including advanced treatment rooms, educational classrooms, and hands-on learning spaces. Each area was thoughtfully designed to support providers in mastering the latest techniques in aesthetic medicine.
What stood out the most was not only the beautiful environment, but the people. The team at AMI was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. They took the time to educate, answer questions, and share insights about where our industry is going.
One of the most inspiring moments for us was seeing the visual timeline of innovation—showing how the aesthetic industry has evolved over the years.
From early breakthroughs to today’s advanced treatments, it was a powerful reminder of how far this field has come—and how important it is to stay educated and aligned with trusted leaders like Allergan Aesthetics.
Their continued growth, research, and development are helping shape the future of aesthetic medicine worldwide, and we are proud to stay connected to that level of education.
